Hofstra University congratulates the students named to the Fall 2015 Dean's List for their outstanding academic achievement. Students must earn a grade point average of at least 3.5 during the semester to make the Dean's List.

More than 300 students met requirements for graduation from SUNY Oneonta following the fall 2015 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by college President Nancy Kleniewski. They also are eligible to participate in the college's commencement on May 14.

150 SUNY Potsdam students representing more than 50 clubs and organizations took part in the Dr. Millard and Ruth Harmon Student Leader Conference to open the Fall 2015 semester.

This fall, SUNY Oneonta will welcome approximately 1,100 freshmen and 600 new transfer students hailing from across New York, as well as from 16 states and countries.Our newest Red Dragons will officially join the Oneonta family when they walk through the historic pillars of Old Main during the traditional Pass through the Pillars ceremony on Aug. 30, the night before classes begin.

Nearly 250 SUNY Potsdam students completed internship placements at companies, non-profits or campus departments in Spring 2015. SUNY Potsdam's internship program places students with employers whose interests align with their studies. Each student intern has a faculty sponsor, and earns between 1 and 12 credits toward their degree requirements.

Hudson Valley Community College held its 61st annual Commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 16 at the college's Joseph L. Bruno Stadium in Troy, NY. A total of 2,186 students earned associate degrees and certificates. Of those, 461 graduated with academic honors.

Nearly 1,000 students were honored at SUNY Oneonta's 126th commencement on May 16, 2015. Students who completed the requirements for bachelor's degrees, master's degrees and certificates of advanced study in the summer or fall of 2014 or the spring of 2015 participated in three main ceremonies in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. Caryl M. Stern, a 1978 graduate of SUNY Oneonta and president and chief executive officer of the United States Fund for UNICEF, addressed the graduates.

SUNY Oneonta has awarded scholarships to 270 incoming freshman and five new transfer students. Since 2000, the college and its related College at Oneonta Foundation have more than tripled the number of scholarships available to SUNY Oneonta students, and more than $4 million is awarded each year.

The following students have been cited for academic achievement for the Spring 2015 semester by achieving the Dean's List at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have an academic average of 3.50 or higher within the semester.
