The following local residents were named to the Dean's List at Ithaca College for the spring 2013 semester.

Area students recently received Part-Time Honors for their outstanding academic performance during the spring 2013 semester at SUNY Canton. "Congratulations to our students who earned Part-Time Honors for the spring 2013 semester! The provost, deans, faculty and I are very proud of the way you applied your best efforts to the semester's coursework," said SUNY Canton Acting President Joseph C. Hoffman. "The work ethic and the enthusiasm for learning you develop here at the College will serve you well in your professional careers after graduation." The State University of New York at Potsdam recently named 827 students to the President's List, in recognition of their academic excellence in the Spring 2013 semester. The SUNY Potsdam students have been honored for earning top marks by Interim President Dr. Dennis L. Hefner.

The following students have been cited for academic achievement for the Fall 2012 semester by achieving the Dean's List at the State University of New York College of Technology at Delhi. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have an academic average of 3.50 or higher and take six credit hours or more within the semester.

A video produced by a team of Clarkson University students was named one of five finalists in the Best Video Feature Segment category on the 2013 National Undergraduate Student Electronic Media Competition sponsored by the National Broadcasting Society. The following local residents were among 38 SUNY Potsdam student-athletes to earn a spot on the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) All-Academic List for the fall semester, the conference announced Friday, Feb. 8. Players named to the All-Academic List have a minimum 3.3 GPA for the Fall 2012 semester.

Morrisville State College recently announced those students who were named to the Dean's List for the Fall 2012 semester. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must achieve an average of 3.0 to 3.99 for the semester and complete 12 credit hours.
